ABOUT ME

New to Perth (and Australia!) I made the move from the UK at the end of 2023 and am quickly settling in to life in the city. I have over 10 years of photography experience, starting officially with my Photography A Levels in 2010. Photography has been a great passion of mine for a long time, especially portraiture, as I love to create cherishable memories. I beleive that although taking photos on phones in daily life can help to keep these, having a professional photoshoot is at a whole other level, and these are the photos that really look amazing on your wall. I live in the Suburb of Como with my partner Neel and dog Bilbo and cannot wait to delve in to photography life here with all the stunning scenery. You may occasionally meet Neel on photoshoots as he makes a great photography assistant when I need one!

PORTRAITURE

I have a strong background in studio portraiture, starting part time in a small studio called 'Photopurity' for several months in 2014, mainly working with dogs and families. I then moved in late 2014 to a large studio called 'The Fresh Academy' in Greater London for 3 years where I was privileged to shoot a range of genres including; fashion, families, mother and daughter makeovers, bump to baby, couples, boudoir and enchanted fairy themed shoots. As well as doing the occasional portraiture shoot over the years, from 2020-2022 I offered kids Christmas photoshoots out to the local community and even had Santa join in in 2022 to really give the kids the Christmas experience. I used my editing background in enhanted fairy photoshoots to add sparkles to the images to really bring them to life and add a bit of Christmas magic.

PET PORTRAITS

In September 2017 I trained in dog grooming and opened a Mobile dog grooming business, incorporating my love of photography. I produced some beautiful photographs of peoples dogs (and even 2 cats!) and in November 2019 I opened a salon, with a photography studio upstairs, which really allowed my photography side of the business to flourish. I offered mini post groom photoshoots to my clients, giving them the perfect opportunity to get a studio portrait of their dog whilst they had a fresh haircut, I also offered studio and location shoots to be booked out. At Christmas I did themed post groom shoots of the dogs, which was extremely popular, my number 1 product being Christmas cards which my clients loved sending to all their friends and family. Over time I have developed a strong preference to shooting on location as I love the colours and nature in the background - I think this all creates a stunning photograph that goes so much further than just a dog on a backdrop.

CHARITY WORK

Throughout my dog grooming business I raised the equivalent of $5,000 for various animal charities, including some Australian charities. I like to give back where I can and believe greatly in supporting charities. I already have a photoshoot lined up with a dog rescue in Perth, photographing their foster dogs in hopes to help them find a new home, this is of course something I donate my services to for free. For any other charity enquiries, please do not hesitate to get in touch,

MODELLING

Throughout the years I have also enjoyed being the other side of the camera and love to collaborate with other photographers to create great images. I beleive this is a great way for me to understand being in the clients shoes, as I know how awkward it can sometimes feel in front of the camera and how to feel more relaxed.
